Over the past 20 years two types of spaces have come to dominate the display of art:
1. The "pristine white room", representing the view that the display of art is best served by an absence of context.
2. The ëappropriated backdropí: often old industrial remains, which are to provide "added drama" to the artwork.
We propose a new conceptual framework that accommodates both the museum's traditional function and incorporates the additional roles and expectations the museum has acquired. We imagine a museum in 3 parts, in the form of a complete dependency with a maximum interface between them.
We imagine a museum with the 2 spaces described above and a new one, where you use the best advances of technology to absorb and interact in real time with other nationalities' culture centers in a collective and not passive way. It's an immersive experience that allows people to be in different places exchanging culture, opinions and experiences in real time.
