The HCA museum redefinition, allows a simple yet important perspective into the future not only of a building but of city. The closed definition of the blocks seen in site surroundings unveils an unique opportunity to discuss and rethink this definition itself. Considering the demolition of part of the existing museum we face the possibility to redesign the limits of this block, allowing us to create a visual boundary that defines the streets and public space and at the same time opens the inside of the block. The design of the building aims to create an unified continuous space transitioning between interior and exterior, inviting the Odense inhabitants to use and live the museum as part of their daily lives and memories.
