The vertical challenge will be built in a 46.000m² steep terrain located in the east hill of Runavík facing the fjord. Given the vast area and the complex construction requirements, our proposal intends to create a spatial organization mainly focused on a valuable public space and housing units.
This concept - EVERY PATIO IS FRAMED BY 4 HOUSES AND EVERY MODULE IS SURROUNDED BY 4 GARDENS – is the departure point for our contemporary proposal for the vertical challenge. We are interested in having a dense and low urbanization where the common areas become a continuous urban landscape with playgrounds, gardens and urban farms.
