LOUISVILLE CHILDREN MUSEUM

Louiseville Children's Museum is an interpretation of space for children,
where the spatial succession follows a logic of experimentation based on
the habits and ways of their relation. Characterized by a central foyer from
which develops a spiral that enables a constant succession of spaces to
be exploited. Not designing a museum devoted to children respecting the
rules of a conventional museum. Thus sought beyond the underlying fun
kids a component of some pedagogical way the spatial point of view. It is
the experience that the child is aware of space, there is a place of difficult
to understand that she delivers the unknown drawing of it. Were developed
different course topics, size, door, window, staircase , among others, seeking
above all to establish a variety of possibilities to walk through the space,
thereby enhancing different experiences . This idea of space for children is
delivered in a structure apparently typified the museum space, in which case
the classical succession of rooms, perhaps because this order it is necessary to
unite the suggested diversity.
