Through the interpretation and recognition of the site and its spontaneous buildings it has become possible to detect a way of building that reveals the basic social settlement type from which the community space gains a central importance.
Despite the relevance of community spaces in existing settlements is possible to identify certain routes where, somehow, articulating spaces are required. Particularly in the areas of contact between the social character / leisure and work / cultivation.
After identifying these circumstances and based on the initial idea of a traditional subdivision with a sectional structure of 20x60m arranged perpendicular to the road structures, we evolved to a solution that contemplates the aggregation of four lots, where a part of each one becomes the common space.
With this strategy becomes possible to achieve a greater efficiency in the distribution of space as required, optimizing the ratio of the number of houses and the total area, as well as the organsation of two types of shared space: one for the support of the agricultural fields and another for the social activities.
